WHO WE ARE

The Jesus First Christian Ministries is a church-planting ministry founded in June 1987 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It was registered with the Philippine Exchange Commission on May 31, 1989 as a non-denominational, non-profit, religious Christian organization. It is

authorized to plant churches, build schools and engage in missions and civic activities that seek to promote the general well-being of man.

The Jesus First Christian Ministries was birthed out of the vision and the desire of the church at the time to obey the “Great Commission” from the Lord. This it envisioned to do by planting churches under the slogan “to win, to train and to send.” It is represented and identified by its logo, a tree, which the church received through a vision and with the prophecy that the church will be a shelter and a home for the tired and the weary.

The JFCM Missions Office (JF-MO) is located in 831 Nueve de Febrero St., Mauway, Mandaluyong City. The General Overseer and the Regional Overseers, five (5) of whom make up the JFCM Mission Council, oversee the work the work of the churches. This body is responsible for keeping the vision of the organization and for crafting and implementing the policies and guidelines to effect the same.

WHY WE EXIST

The Jesus First Christian Ministries exists to glorify God. This, it seeks to do by bringing people to Christ; by training them unto spiritual maturity; by equipping them to do ministry and mission; and by enabling them to fulfill their calling in life.

WHAT WE DO

1. We win people to the Lord Jesus Christ through the ministry of evangelism and church planting.

2. We train people to do the work of the ministry through discipleship, ministry and mission training.

3. We send people to do ministry and mission according to their developed natural and God-given abilities; and as the church is able.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

1. We believe that the BIBLE is the infallible word of God and the absolute authority in matters of faith and conduct.

2. We believe that God eternally exists in three distinct persons of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

3. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is the Incarnate Word who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of Mary who was a virgin and who died sacrificially for our sins. He was buried, resurrected bodily on the third day and ascended into heaven. He will come again to judge the living and the dead.

4. We believe that all men have sinned against God and that they are saved solely by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and His redemptive work.

5. We believe that the Holy Spirit is the eternal Spirit of God sent to the church to empower it to live a holy life and to witness to the whole world.

6. We believe that there is only one church, the Body of Christ with the Lord Jesus Christ as its head, and that all believers in every generation belong to it.

7. We believe that the church is tasked by God to preach the gospel to all nations. This it can accomplish by planting churches and supporting mission through tithes and offerings.

8. We believe in the rapture of the saints, the second coming of Christ, the resurrection of the body, the judgment of believers, the judgment of non-believers, and in life everlasting.

9. We believe in the ordinances of Water Baptism and the Breaking of Bread.

10. We believe in the sanctity of marriage – that it is biblical, singular and exclusively between man and woman.
